In this course, you will explore how best to design training for adult learners in order to increase both participant engagement and the retention of information. First, you’ll explore Malcom Knowles’s Principles of Andragogy and learn which activities you can implement to create training designed for adult learners. You will then continue to learn best practices for increasing retention in adult learners by exploring the brain’s processing channels and strategies and best practices for transferring knowledge to long-term memory. At the end of this course, you will implement activities within your training to meet the needs of adult learners based on the science and theory of adult brain science.
